In response to the national environmental protection policy, we are practicing the concept of green development. We built a new hazardous waste storage in the Lake Area in August 2024, which is scheduled to be officially put into use in September.

Located in the ZGP production plant of Qarhan Salt Lake, the new storage covers an area of 939.36 square meters with a total investment of RMB 3.02 million. During the construction of the project, we uphold the principle of high standards, high input and high efficiency to ensure the stable use of the storage under various harsh natural environmental conditions, so as to effectively prevent the pollution of hazardous waste to soil, water and air.

The Supply and Storage Department of the Company classifies the hazardous waste generated in the Lake Area according to the National List of Hazardous Waste, and clarifies the key information such as the name, category, code and hazardous characteristics of each hazardous waste to ensure the safe storage and management of hazardous waste. We properly classify and store hazardous waste according to their categories, forms and physical and chemical properties to prevent them from contact with incompatible substances. In addition, the Supply and Storage Department holds professional training sessions for managers to enhance their environmental awareness and business level, and ensure the effective implementation of various management systems, so as to guarantee the safe operation of hazardous waste storage.

Looking ahead, we will continue to increase our efforts in environmental protection, adhere to the environmental protection concept of “lucid waters and lush mountains are invaluable assets,” and constantly improve the technologies and methods for hazardous waste management. At the same time, we will also strive to achieve the reduction, recycling, and harmlessness of hazardous waste, and contribute more to the protection of the ecological environment and sustainability. with the joint efforts of all employees, we believe that we will be able to transform the “difficulties” in hazardous waste disposal into the “highlights” in the Company’s green development.
